Energy access and distributed solar in Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone has a mix of grid-connected, mini-grid and standalone energy users. The World Bank’s 2024 Multi-Tier Framework diagnostic reported that 21.1% of households had access through the national grid or mini-grids, while 14.7% had off-grid access; solar products were an important part of off-grid supply in the assessment. The report is useful context for understanding why solutions must be tailored to urban, peri-urban and rural applications.
Arvion Energy SL uses this context to frame customer assessments; it is not a substitute for a site survey, utility confirmation or project feasibility study.
